Book Discussion: One Book, One Valley Initiative

In recognition of National Family Literacy Month, Riverstone Wellness is partnering with the KVHS One Book, One Valley Initiative to host a special book discussion focused on resilience in the face of wildfires.

Together, we’ll discuss Paradise by Lizzie Johnson—a powerful, minute-by-minute account of the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California. Our discussion will explore how wildfires shape a community’s sense of safety, identity, and connection, while highlighting the extraordinary courage, adaptability, and collective strength that emerge from shared hardship.
