About this Event
We use music to calm and soothe, to express love and joy, and to engage and interact. Music and movement can help improve social-emotional skills, strengthen motor development, stimulate the body and mind to work together, practice self-expression, and emotionally regulate. Music encourages the strengthening of memory, and brain development, as well as language skills by learning the sounds and meanings of words! Families can build on these natural instincts by connecting through music, and by dancing and moving! This family dance party will offer a safe space to express through movement, and to dance and play TOGETHER.Why dance?
