About this Event
Join us for an inspiring evening with author and world-class whitewater rafting guide, Bridget Crocker, as she discusses her powerful memoir, The River's Daughter.
Bridget Crocker’s memoir The River’s Daughter traces her tumultuous upbringing in Wyoming after her parents’ bitter divorce, where her only refuge was the wild flow of rivers—particularly our own Kern, where she later forged her lifelong bond with whitewater guiding. She grew into one of the few female whitewater rafting guides at the time, navigating dangerous rapids and learning to trust both the river and herself as tools for healing from generational trauma and abuse.
Come hear Bridget's remarkable story of resilience, finding strength in nature, and transforming trauma into empowerment.
