About this Event

This fun and interactive science day will be led by Kat Edmonson, a credentialed teacher who taught high school science for 25 years. Bringing her expertise and skulls to the table your children will enjoy a discussion and display of skulls, parts and examples of different mammal classes. Trays with many specimens will be displayed for hands-on study and participants will be encouraged to handle and examine each skull. They will also take an example of a field lab test by trying to identify over 20 mystery skulls. This is the time they can choose to "dig deeper" and try harder examples of what real-life field biologists come across in the wild, and how they can identify them. This class is suitable for kids 6 years and older.
