Service Description
This feel good 6 week class is designed to provide postpartum people with a safe space to connect with their changing bodies and new babies. You will be guided through movements, breathing exercises, and basic, easy to remember anatomy info that will encourage postpartum recovery that will include your baby when appropriate. Cultivate a new awareness that will assist you through breastfeeding, lack of sleep, and find a deeper connection with your new baby, as well as addressing aches and pains associated with giving birth. This class will help to strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, provide relief and comfort to the areas of the body most impacted by having grown and birthed a baby. Taught with a strong focus on alignment and anatomy, in a non judgmental, welcoming environment, these classes help you navigate your changing body and life with grace and acceptance. Individuals are encouraged to check with their doctor before starting a yoga practice. When practicing, be gentle and kind to yourself, as birthing a child is both a very natural human condition, yet simultaneously very delicate. It is recommended to wait until at least 6 weeks postpartum to resume physical activity and cleared by care provider. Your baby is welcome, suggested until crawling age.
