Week Four: Responding vs Reacting
Mindfulness Practice for Anxiety/Depression: Alternate Nostril Breathing
Nadi Shodhana (pronounced nah-dee-sho-dah-nah) is a simple but powerful form of Pranayama (breath control). It opens up and purifies your body's subtle energy channels (Nadis) to make space for your life force energy (Prana) to flow more freely. This rebalances the nervous system and realigns breath, body and mind. It can reduce the intensity of headaches as well.
