Riverstone Wellness 501(c)3 offers a variety of programs centered on expanding wellness of mind, body, and soul. Our focus is grounded in science and provides opportunities for community connection through the healing arts, creativity, and sharing. We maintain a space for the community to come together for laughter, friendship, connection, and self-care. Many of our classes and events are available both online and in-person. We are inclusive to all.
Position Description
We are seeking a dynamic and proven Program Director to oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of our ongoing programs.
The Program Director’s responsibilities include strategic planning, staff management, performance
management, and program execution.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive initiatives.
Roles

Professionally represent the mission statement of Riverstone Wellness at the facility and in the community.

Create and develop community events at Riverstone Wellness that generate revenue and community engagement.

Promote and enhance Riverstone Wellness participation to generate revenue and financial sustainability.

Develop and facilitate community partnerships for collaborative events and programs (Silver Sneakers, Heartland Home School, and others).

Research and apply for grants (willingness to take grant writing workshops).

Maintain accurate records of Riverstone Wellness.

Report to the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities

Supervise all instructors, ensuring all credentials and insurances are up to date.

Ensure all classes and events are running smoothly; participants are enrolled with paying passes and/or single payments; and scholarship applications have been processed and approved.

Assist in checking customers into classes and workshops and train instructors on how to do so.

Assist instructors with virtual audio-visual equipment setup, ensuring smooth broadcast when applicable.

Coordinate with Virtual Assistant for timely marketing, social media generation and promotion.

Oversee website management to ensure accuracy and timely updates.

Maintain events, workshops, and class calendar.

Expand and maintain ongoing rental space and community space of Riverstone Wellness.

Keep facility tidy, organized, stocked and decorated as appropriate for holiday seasons.

Assist with event setup, takedown, and clean-up as needed.

Keep current equipment safe, organized, and sanitized.

Be available to answer concerns or questions from the general public.

Effectively communicate logistics, timelines, and pay scale to interested instructors for contracting new classes and events.
Contracted Position Information

This is a part time (contracted) position for 10 hours per week.

Rate of pay is $30 per hour.

A Form 1099-NEC will be provided annually for tax purposes.

The individual selected is responsible for filing all applicable Federal, State, and local taxes.

A Live Scan background check is required for this position.
